Located in the very traditional city Memmingen, Germany, SoHo Architektur designed this modern house wood stand out from the rest. MuUGN Haus is a German plan modern house, clad with dark wood to give a rustic look. But the windows are a modern, foreshadowing what is inside. In complete contrast to the dark facade, haunting this house near an open space is bright, cheerful and contemporary. Dressed in light wood floor and closed at the focal point of the house, in our humble opinion - a ladder upside down, hanging from the ceiling. The kitchen has black cabinet, which is softened by the elements of earth and wood floors and honey-colored wooden ceiling beams. The sloping walls really give a sense of intimacy, shared by the upper loft area. A stone tiled bathroom overlooks the city. The owners also probably benefited from a serene sunrise or sunset from the rooftop garden.
